I really like the design of the takeout container. The red ramen, their umami bowl, was not as spicy as I was hoping, but still very good. The wait was intolerable so we opted for takeout and the staff was very helpful for our pivot. The food came out quickly too. If we could have sat down, we would have enjoyed the nice outdoor or indoor seating. Ambiance Seemed very calm.

The food is great, but IMO anytime you are cutting staff and replacing them with an iPad, you should be passing on discounts to customers. It's a trendy corner of the Sawtelle area. Skews young, you'll get all kinds of types from locals to college students. For the location I'd say the area feels very safe at night, and it's probably not. Ignorance is bliss. Overrated, no. Overpriced, definitely.

Always enjoy coming here, they are always so quick with their service. The food is great, full of flavor, and very authentic. It can be a little crowded at times so highly recommend coming 30-40 minutes earlier than when you want to eat. Better place for small groups but they do a great job of fitting you in. Pro tip: be kind and leave when you finish, don't keep others waiting if you don't want to be kept waiting either.

We've ventured through many ramen restaurants in Northern California, Chicago, and Southern California, particularly in metropolitan areas like San Francisco, Berkeley, and Chicago. Among them, Tatsu Ramen in Los Angeles, California, stands out as a must-have. Their broth is amazing, and I always go for the spiciest option on the menu.. I highly recommend Tatsu Ramen to anyone. It's a really good spot with great vibes. Just a heads-up: call ahead to check about their broth base as it might be shellfish-based. Five stars out of five stars. Thank you, Tatsu Ramen! Tried the GF ramen. Pretty good love that they separate noodle from broth. The pork bun is also good. My kids love the creamy chicken ramen actually devoured the entire thing and asked for more Ordered online for pickup on time and food was still hot when we sat down to eat

No wait on a Monday night for dinner, we were able to get seated quickly. Our order took about 20 minutes but Tatsu's ramen is always worth the wait. Bold Ramen Slow-cooked Tonkotsu (pork) broth, finished with a perfect blend of 11 bold ingredients. Thin noodles served with Tatsu Egg, scallions and fried onions. 4/5 Review - Great broth, the egg is my favorite as well as the bamboo shoots.

Long line ups! Everytime I'm there but worth the wait ! Yummy and perfect for a slightly chilly night, they have outdoor and indoor dining. flavourful rich decadent broth, and chewy delicious noodles. I like the ability to have each individual make orders and payment prior to sitting down, avoids splitting bill time waste when your with a group of friends :) Their Marinated egg in ramen was perfection. Naked Ramen - noodles were bouncy and a tad bit thicker than regular ramen noodle. sauce had strong garlic and sesame flavor but a bit on the saltier side. very similar to indomie mi goreng with thicker noodles. Service - I visited Sawtelle around 10PM for dinner and this was the only shop still accepting customers :D Orders were taken through kiosk. Staff were friendly and it was about a 15 minute wait for our food after we were seated.

Overall: a clean eatery with deeply umami flavored broths and al dente noodles. I wish the pricing were a bit more customer friendly. Food: 5/5 My favorite ramen spot in this area for taste!
